In my work with couples I take a positive view of relationships even though it can be hard to see them as anything other than negative when we are having relationship difficulties.
I believe that the partners we ‘pick’ are the perfect people to help us realise our full potential by jolting us out of familiar patterns and allowing us, as individuals and as a couple, to grow.
Couples counselling provides an opportunity for a couple to explore their problems in a supportive and safe atmosphere that facilitates mutual understanding and the development of their relationship.

Imago Relationship Therapy is a systematic theory of relationship therapy developed by Harville Hendrix, Ph.D., author of Getting the Love you Want: a Guide for Couples. This approach to working with couples offers powerful and effective methods with which couples can quickly and effectively access the core reasons for the problems they experience in relationship and the 'tools' to work towards healing. It is a systematic and structured approach that integrates different theoretical orientations such as Systemic, Psychodynamic and Transpersonal approaches to psychology.
